Remodel and Addition

This 1980s tract home was sited on its unusual corner lot without much regard for a major feature of the property: a beautiful and expansive side yard. We reoriented and added on to the kitchen and dining nook area and added a deck, maximizing morning light and a connection to the yard. This addition added a balcony above, so by reworking  two upstairs bedrooms at the same time, we were able to improve the quality of life for the whole family.
