Built in 1927, this beautiful home had a cramped kitchen and dining nook. Now owned by a cookbook author and family, a remodel became imperative. Recessing the garage to the basement level and pivoting the stair 90 degrees allowed for a 28’ long windowed galley kitchen, and dining nook opening to the back courtyard. A reworked downstairs and main level master bedroom were also a part of this project.
